Scentsy Story
Hi everyone! My name is Heather Deeley. I am a Star Director from Rome, NY. I have been with Scentsy for 15 years now. I joined in October 2008 under. My sponsor came to my home to do a party, I had 2 people show up...stinks right?. Well those 2 people ordered enough for me to have a qualifying party!! I fell absolutely in LOVE with the products right off the gate & told her "I have to join! Like right now". There was something about Scentsy...it absolutely drew me in & I had to be a part of it. My "why" has changed a few times over the years. Originally I was in it for the extra money...let's face it, we can all use it. Over the years though, I have found that my "why" was so much more & Scentsy would be my vehicle that gets me there. I wanted to get out of debt, Scentsy helped make that happen. I wanted more time with my family, Scentsy helped me to go part time at my job & do just that. I wanted to see the world, Scentsy has given me opportunities to earn free trips through their incentives. All amazing things right?. Then September 2018 came...my "why" changed again. I was working as a nurse (which had always been my passion to do) & was assaulted by an individual that I cared for. He tackled me into a set of metal doors resulting in a severe TBI/concussion, shoulder injury & neck/spinal cord injury. Life for me completely changed! I can no longer do the job I have done for the past 20 years. What now??? I had to find me again. The one thing that remained constant...my Scentsy business!!! Had I not treated this like a business & more like a hobby, things would be drastically different for us. Scentsy saved me. It was the one thing that I had to fall back on, the one thing that held me together at that time. The love & support from my Scentsy family has been amazing to say the least. Scentsy, to me, is SO much more than a business! I will forever be grateful for that party back in October 2008, for the friendships made through this journey & my many AMAZING customers that have supported me along on this journey!
